Case study digital fashion haberdasheries

This project is a case study of digital haberdasheries visualised and used in CLO3D.
The goal of this research and case study was to figure out how to create haberdasheries that would keep the file size smaller than using real 3D objects. So for example, the sequins are made using textures and height maps to make them 3D instead of mesh-3D objects.
But I also experimented with the limits of CLO3D, using mesh-3D objects like the beads to see how many I could add till it would crash or become too slow to work with. And how to optimize their mesh in Blender to make them small in file size but still realistic to real life beads.

These dresses were my starting point in designing the dress itself. The dress was mostly a canvas to show my haberdashery research on.
